Hot bats lead Yachtsmen past Greely 17-3

An outstanding effort by Connor Aube carried the Yachtsmen to a 17-3 win in seven innings over Greely on Friday.
Aube racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Yachtsmen. He singled in the second and fifth innings and homered in the fourth and seventh innings.
Falmouth continued to add runs until the end of the game. Falmouth scored five runs in the final one innings to cap the win. The Yachtsmen scored five runs in the seventh and scored in the seventh on an error, a sacrifice fly by Garret Aube, and a three-run home run by Aube.

Falmouth relied on Cam Guarino to eat up innings en route to the win. Guarino allowed three earned runs, three hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Normandeu ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed 12 runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked six and struck out two.
The Yachtsmen never surrendered the lead after the second inning, scoring four runs on an error and a two-run single by Aube.
Falmouth tacked on another four runs in the fourth. Aube started the inning with a two-run home run, scoring Aube. That was followed up by Reece Armitage's single, plating Tyler Gee.
Yachtsmen brought home two runs in the fifth inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the fifth, Yachtsmen scored on a fielder's choice, bringing home Hogan Tracy.
Yachtsmen built upon its lead with two runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Chris Camelio singled, plating Colin Coyne to kick things off.
